🇵🇹 Inserido no antigo quarteirão dos CTT, o Liberdade Street Fashion distingue-se pela perfeita harmonia entre a traça arquitetónica do antigo Palácio dos Correios e a arquitetura de linhas simples e contemporâneas de Gonçalo Byrne, um dos mais conceituados arquitetos portugueses.

O empreendimento tem uma área de construção bruta de 32.000 m2 e alia as componentes comerciais e de serviços às vertentes habitacional e cultural. Trata-se de um centro comercial, com ginásio – o Liberty Fitness Center -, escritórios, cerca de 20 apartamentos de luxo integrados e três pisos de estacionamento subterrâneo.

A componente comercial obedece a um conceito de “Street Shop” ou “Comércio de Rua”, em que as lojas são totalmente independentes umas das outras, com a porta e montras de frente para as ruas. No interior, a entrada da luz natural, através das janelas de alumínio e da fachada envidraçada, ajuda a moldar os volumes e enfatiza a fluidez dos espaços, criando uma atmosfera acolhedora.

A título de curiosidade, o Liberdade Street Fashion localiza-se em área urbana protegida e nasce sobre um importante conjunto arqueológico associado à necrópole romana da via XVII, com indiscutível valor científico e histórico. Os achados encontrados pela Unidade de Arqueologia da Universidade do Minho (UAUM) durante as escavações do empreendimento foram integralmente preservados e doados à cidade de Braga.

Além disso, encontra-se, no interior do quarteirão, um edifício ocupado pela Portugal Telecom, onde funciona o centro de telecomunicações que serve toda a cidade de Braga. O imóvel foi mantido, tendo sido garantida a sua completa operacionalidade.

🇬🇧 Inserted in the old quarter of CTT (Post Office), Liberdade Street Fashion is distinguished by the perfect harmony between the architectural design of the former Palácio dos Correios and the architecture of simple and contemporary lines of Gonçalo Byrne, one of the most renowned portuguese architects.

The development has a gross construction area of ​​32,000 m2 and combines commercial and service components with housing and cultural aspects. It is a shopping center, with a gym – the Liberty Fitness Center -, offices, around 20 luxury apartments and three floors of underground parking.

The commercial component follows a concept of “Street Shop” or “Street Commerce”, in which the stores are totally independent from each other, with the door and windows facing the streets. Inside, the entrance of natural light, through the aluminum windows and the glazed facade, helps to shape the volumes and emphasizes the fluidity of the spaces, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

As a curiosity, Liberdade Street Fashion is located in a protected urban area and rises above an important archaeological complex associated with the Roman necropolis of the XVII route, with undeniable intrinsic, scientific and historical value. The findings found by the Archeology Unit of the University of Minho (UAUM) during the excavations of the Project were fully preserved and donated to the city of Braga, with the support of the City Council.

Furthermore, there is a building inside the block occupied by Portugal Telecom, where the telecommunications center that serves the entire city of Braga operates. That was maintained and guaranteed to be fully operational.
